A vintage Swiss-made Trebex gentleman’s dress wristwatch, circa 1960s. The round case features angled lugs and is finished in a polished yellow gold tone. Based on strong market consensus and comparable examples of this specific model and era, the case material is attributed to be 9ct gold, pending verification of internal hallmarks. The timepiece is fitted with a manual-wind 17-jewel movement, indicated by the inscription “17 JEWELS” on the cream-colored dial. The dial features applied gold-toned Arabic numerals (1-12) and elegant Dauphine-style hour and minute hands. A recessed subsidiary seconds register is located above the 6 o’clock position, marked “NON MAGNETIC” and “SWISS.” The watch is currently fitted to a black stitched leather strap.
