The chain terminates on one end with a decorative heart-shaped padlock clasp. This clasp bears indistinct stamps, possibly hallmarks, including a stylized initial near the keyhole, suggesting a vintage origin. The opposite end features a circular fob housing a single, smooth, round cabochon of vibrant orange-red material, identified visually as presumed carnelian or coral.
