Jewellery Extravaganza and Memorabilia
This is a vintage multi-strand chain, likely a conversion piece adapted from an antique Albert or fob watch chain. The piece is constructed from yellow metal, appearing gold-toned, featuring multiple strands of curb links grouped into sections. The chain terminates on one end with a decorative heart-shaped padlock clasp. This clasp bears indistinct stamps, possibly hallmarks, including a stylized initial near the keyhole, suggesting a vintage origin. The opposite end features a circular fob housing a single, smooth, round cabochon of vibrant orange-red material, identified visually as presumed carnelian or coral. The cabochon is secured in a bezel setting which also bears tiny, unreadable hallmark stamps. The conversion style suggests the piece may be worn as a necklace or bracelet.
